To make things even better, I noticed my good friend Justin Kepley with his entire family out getting his son ready to make a comeback from a recent injury. It's always fun to catch up with friends you use to ride with back in the day! Now that Justin's kids are the ones riding, he spends a lot of time taking care of them on and off the track. And I must say, the Kepleys are 100% committed to their racing. I got to see some sweet footage from their recent trip to the mini-o's.
Oh it gets better... As soon as I got settled in for Sundays practice, I happen to notice a bike number that I immediately recognized. Yep, a couple of my pals that I knew from Andrews Motorsports were out getting ready to shred!
Good track + good weather + good friends = good times. Period!
